One Month 'till D-Date - 36 weeks.

This is me 1 month pregnant.
I don't actually remember looking like this.
Since then I have gained about 30 lbs  more or less and month left to go.
My due date is July 11th, 2013.
36 weeks

We are excited to be welcoming a new member to our family.
I'm also starting to get really nervous.
The reality that I am going to be in charge of two small people is starting to set in.
I have all the clothing washed and folded and all the other baby stuff is ready.
It's not the worry of not being physically ready to have her here.
But,
I'm nervous to have a newborn again.
I remember how hard they are.
But in the same breath I remember exactly how in love with ZZ I was when she was born.
I remember kissing her little fingers and never wanting to put her down.
With ZZ I was more stressed about the 'things' then the actual baby part.
Now I am wiser and I know how much life in general changes when there is a brand new baby in the mix.
I'm excited for those changes,
and terrified.

A lot of people have asked me if this pregnancy has been like my first,
especially since they are both girls.
They really have been pretty close
.
I was really sick the first four months
with both of them.
I think I was more sick with #2 than with ZZ,
and I had medicine to help this time.

With #2 the aches and pains started
about the time the puking stopped
and they were lot worst.
I felt like I was in the third trimester
most of second trimester.
I had a couple of weeks where my sciatic nerve had me in so much pain I thought I was going to die.
Luckily it didn't last forever.

The good news is, my third trimester has been AWESOME (so far).
I actually feel really good still.
ZZ - 36 weeks - 2011
I don't feel uncomfortable,
I haven't swelled up nearly as much this time,
and I am actually handling the heat a lot better than I thought I was going to.

I am a lot more hungry this pregnancy,
where I didn't really have an appetite with ZZ.
I can pretty much out eat Sergio...
and pretty much any other grown man.

This baby moves a lot more than ZZ did.
I get a lot of kicks and punches,
Not to mention an insane amount (2 or 3 times a day) of hip-cups.
After a few minutes she gets upset that she has had hip-cups
and starts kicking and punching even harder.
The same thing happens if I'm getting hungry.
She throws a tantrum in my tummy.
So it's her fault that I have to eat a bunch every day...
Gotta keep the baby happy right?

ZZ mostly stretched from my ribs to my hips and rolled.
When ZZ moved they were always big movements that made my stomach look like something out of alien.
It was fun when she was born to see that she slept exactly the same way with her legs stretched straight out and her arms up by her head.

I've enjoyed looking through all of ZZ's old pictures.
It really makes me even more excited.

I can't wait to see this little girl.
I can't wait to hold her in my arms and
show her off to everyone.
I can't wait to hear her little coo's and cries.
I can't wait for Sergio to get to hold her.
Some of my favorite pictures and videos of ZZ as a newborn was seeing him with her.
It will be fun to see how ZZ reacts to the changes that
having a little sister will bring.
I think she is going to love it.
I know she is going to be one amazing big sister.

She is going to be here in no time.
Only 30 days (and counting) until D-date.
